A flight from Chennai to Delhi caused a lot of trouble for passengers on Tuesday. The Air India flight, number 2836, was delayed for almost five hours, which left many people stuck and frustrated.

At first, passengers were made to sit inside the plane for about 90 minutes without any proper update. A passenger shared his experience on social media platform X (earlier known as Twitter), saying that an announcement was made at 11:53 a.m. The airline informed them that the aircraft had a technical problem and engineers were checking it. But after that, there was no more information, no new timing for takeoff, and not even any refreshments served to the passengers.

Later, the airline asked everyone to get off the plane because of the same technical issue. This caused even more confusion among the passengers.

In response to the complaint on X, Air India replied, "The flight is delayed due to operational reasons and will be departing shortly. Our team is trying their best to reduce the inconvenience. Please be patient."

However, the passenger quickly replied, “We are deplaning. The flight is NOT departing shortly!” The airline then said, “Dear Sir, please don't worry. We’re informing our ground team to help everyone.”

A video showed that people were already sitting in their seats, ready to fly. But due to the long wait and lack of clear updates, many of them became restless. Some passengers started arguing and there was a lot of confusion inside the aircraft.

The authorities are aware of what happened and are trying to handle the situation properly. So far, there has been no official update on whether the flight has taken off or not.
