ABU DHABI – The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), which oversees and regulates Abu Dhabi's real estate sector, has launched the city’s first residential Rental Index. This new platform is designed to boost transparency and support the stability of the rental market by providing clear and accessible data on residential property values.
The Rental Index serves as a crucial tool for both tenants and landlords, offering indicative rental prices and detailed information about residential properties throughout Abu Dhabi. It aims to enhance market understanding for investors and residents by providing reliable and current data, thereby facilitating informed decision-making.
Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director-General of ADREC, emphasized the significance of the new index. He stated, "The Rental Index will invigorate the rental market in Abu Dhabi, strengthening the emirate's position as an attractive destination for international investors. We are dedicated to developing a dynamic real estate sector that enhances Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness both regionally and globally."

The platform is part of ADREC’s broader strategy to improve customer satisfaction within Abu Dhabi's real estate sector. By delivering valuable insights to investors, property owners, and tenants, the index contributes to the development of a more resilient and sustainable market.
In addition to the residential Rental Index, ADREC plans to introduce other metrics, including a commercial index and a service charge index. These upcoming tools will further enhance the robustness and reliability of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector, supporting its growth and stability.
