Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the organizer of the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region’s flagship financial event, Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADQ. This partnership designates ADQ, one of the world’s top sovereign wealth funds, as the Headline Partner for both the 2024 and 2025 editions of ADFW.
The collaboration with ADQ emphasizes the firm’s commitment to nurturing the continued growth of Abu Dhabi’s financial sector and underscores their integral role in driving innovation and leadership within global finance. As the Headline Partner, ADQ will play a vital role in shaping the agenda of ADFW, helping to elevate the event’s impact and broaden its reach. Their partnership will provide key insights into major developments in the finance world, including investment opportunities and the future of the global financial ecosystem.

In addition to ADQ as the Headline Partner, ADFW 2024 will benefit from the support of more than 30 global, regional, and local organizations. Key partners for this year’s edition include the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), which will serve as the Economic Development Partner; Etihad Airways, the Official Airlines Partner; the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), as the Destination and Cultural Partner; and Hub71, which will be the Tech Ecosystem Partner. The list of official and strategic partners also includes Mubadala, UBS, HSBC, ADCB, FAB, PGIM, ADX, ADIO, ADIB, Circle, Etoro, Further Ventures, REALIZE, and Smartenergy.

ADFW 2024 will take place from December 9-12 and will focus on reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as the “Capital of Capital.” The event will include essential sessions addressing critical developments at the intersection of finance, technology, and investment. Some of the well-established forums returning this year include the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum, Asset Abu Dhabi, RESOLVE 2024, Fintech Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum (ADSFF). Additionally, several new events will be introduced, including the UBS Investment Forum, the China UAE Investment Summit, and the Islamic Finance Summit, among others. Over 300 international speakers, including CEOs and Chairs from 50 leading global financial institutions, are expected to participate.
ADFW is set to be a key platform for advancing conversations that matter in the global financial landscape, showcasing the UAE's role in driving innovation and sustainable finance across the region.
