Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has made a big achievement this year. In the QS World University Rankings 2026, the university moved up by 110 places. It is now ranked 501 in the world. This is a proud moment for the university, the students, teachers, and the UAE.
The QS World University Rankings are known all over the world. These rankings check many things like how well the students are taught, how successful they are after graduation, how many students from other countries are there, and how much research is done by the university.
Abu Dhabi University got better scores in many areas. These include how good the teaching is, how well the university is known among employers, and how often its research is used by others. The number of students from other countries also helped the university score higher.
The university’s President, Professor Ghassan Aouad, said this is a big win for the UAE’s education system. He thanked the leadership of Abu Dhabi for supporting education and helping the university grow. He also praised the hard work of the university’s team, including teachers, staff, and students.
This success follows another recent win for ADU. It was ranked among the top 150 universities in the world that are less than 50 years old. This was in the QS Top 50 Under 50 Rankings for 2025.
The university said it will keep working hard to improve and to give students the best education and skills they need for the future.
