Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) has allocated over AED 16 billion to develop and deliver 80 projects aimed at enhancing the quality of living in Abu Dhabi. Among these projects, 71 were successfully completed in 2023, showcasing significant progress in infrastructure development and community welfare initiatives across the emirate.
The completed projects cover a diverse range of sectors, including housing, infrastructure, transportation, and community development. Notable achievements include the construction of more than 9,000 housing units to accommodate citizens, along with the establishment of 27 projects focused on improving the overall quality of life. These projects encompass the development of parks, schools, community centers, and other essential amenities essential for fostering thriving communities.
In addition to these community-centric initiatives, ADPIC has undertaken major infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity and mobility within Abu Dhabi. This includes the construction of vital transportation corridors, such as the Zayed Port Tunnel and the road network and junction at Zayed International Airport, aimed at facilitating smoother traffic flow and improving accessibility.
