Sheikh Nahyan thanked everyone who helped with the event. He said this championship is not only a sport, but also a way to keep the UAE’s old fishing life and sea customs alive. He said such events bring people together and help young people learn about their country’s past.

He also said that the leaders of the UAE always support events like this because they help protect the country’s history and help more people visit Abu Dhabi.

The kingfish championship was exciting, with many people joining to fish and enjoy the sea. It showed the strong link between sport, culture, and the sea in the UAE.
