These new nurseries will provide over 2,300 seats for young Emirati children in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The goal is to give more Emirati children access to good early education. The nurseries will also help children learn and improve Arabic language skills while strengthening their love for their culture and country.
The nurseries will welcome children aged three months to four years. Parents who are UAE Nationals and live in nearby areas can now register their children. Special priority is given to children of Emirati working mothers. This helps mothers focus on their jobs, knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.
The Al Ghad Nurseries program will also create jobs for about 200 Emiratis. These jobs include teachers, caregivers, and other staff who will support the children.
To make sure teachers are well-prepared, ADEK is working with the Early Childhood Authority (ECA) and the National Academy for Childhood Development (NACD). These groups are helping train Emirati educators to become experts in early education. Already, 70 teachers have finished special training, and more will be trained by December 2024.
The Al Ghad Nurseries are not just about teaching young children. They also help families by offering quality childcare and support. At the same time, they are giving Emirati teachers and staff a chance to grow in their careers and make a positive difference in their community.
