Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ) has recently signed a significant Musataha agreement with Radius Group, a prominent developer specializing in industrial and logistics solutions, to create a state-of-the-art warehousing facility valued at AED320 million.
Located in the Al Falah District, this ambitious project will cover a sprawling 140,000 square meters of land and deliver over 90,000 square meters of high-quality warehouses. This strategic investment is poised to enhance the logistics capabilities within the Al Falah District, generating employment opportunities and invigorating the local economy. The partnership with Radius Group reinforces ADAFZ's commitment to attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to meet the increasing demand for premium light industrial spaces, thereby fostering growth in trade and industry and solidifying Abu Dhabi's reputation as a leading business and investment hub.
Wilson Chan, Senior Vice President of Free Zone Cargo and Logistics at ADAFZ, emphasized that this development underscores the Free Zone's commitment to drawing in leading businesses to Abu Dhabi. He stated, “By leveraging the emirate’s strategic location and world-class facilities, we are creating a thriving hub for businesses to serve the entire region.” He further noted that the rising demand for efficient and scalable warehousing solutions in the free zone, particularly in Al Falah District, reflects Abu Dhabi’s robust economic growth, expanding trade activities, and the need for top-tier infrastructure.

Radius Group is well-regarded for its expertise in developing advanced industrial facilities that comply with international standards. David Simons, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Radius Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to further our investment in the UAE and specifically in Abu Dhabi through this partnership with ADAFZ on this landmark project. This investment reflects our confidence in Abu Dhabi’s thriving logistics sector and ADAFZ’s strategic importance as a regional hub for industrialization and logistics.”
Knight Frank MENA’s Industrial & Logistics team provided essential strategic commercial advice to Radius Group, assisting them in navigating the Abu Dhabi commercial real estate landscape and the land lease process. Mikhail Vereshchagin, Associate Partner for Industrial and Logistics at Knight Frank, remarked, “We are honored to contribute to the fast-growing logistics market in the UAE and provide our expertise on major development projects. It is a privilege to support Radius Group once again, this time in Abu Dhabi.”
With an estimated completion timeline of 24 months, ADAFZ and Radius Group are setting the groundwork for a new era of logistics excellence in Abu Dhabi. This landmark project exemplifies the emirate's commitment to progress, innovation, and its vision for a diversified and sustainable economic future.
