2nd Al Yasat Festival Set to Illuminate Al Dhafra Region

The much-anticipated 2nd Al Yasat Festival is set to unfold on the scenic beaches of Al Sila City in Al Dhafra Region from 6th to 10th November 2024. Organized by the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Authority – Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, this vibrant event aims to honor the UAE’s rich heritage in marine sports while reinforcing the values of national identity within the community.

With a schedule packed with exciting competitions and cultural activities, the festival is an immersive experience designed to celebrate traditional marine sports, support local artisans, and stimulate tourism in the Al Dhafra Region. Attendees can look forward to a variety of thrilling marine races, including the renowned 60-foot and 22-foot dhow sailing races, as well as a modern sailing regatta. These events are crafted not only to honor the UAE’s deep-rooted connection to the sea but also to foster community pride in Emirati traditions and craftsmanship.
