The Zayed Giving Caravans have begun their humanitarian medical services in villages across Pakistan, providing free treatment and specialized care to children and elderly patients suffering from heart diseases. These services are being delivered under the supervision of a joint Emirati–Pakistani volunteer medical team, following the values and humanitarian vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Medical care is provided through fully equipped mobile clinics and a field hospital fitted with modern diagnostic, treatment, and surgical facilities that meet international medical standards. This initiative is being carried out through cooperation between Zayed Giving, Sharjah Charity House, and Emirates Mobile Clinics, with coordination from the UAE Consulate in Karachi.
The medical teams are currently working in Sindh Province and aim to reach a large number of people in remote villages. The mobile hospital includes Emirati and Pakistani doctors, along with international specialists, all working together to deliver quality healthcare services to vulnerable communities.
Doctors involved in the mission said the focus is not only on treatment but also on spreading awareness, promoting volunteering, and easing the suffering of low-income families. The caravans provide free consultations, medicines, laboratory tests, and health education, especially related to heart diseases.
The initiative also supports training programs to improve emergency readiness and strengthen healthcare services in underserved areas. Pakistani health authorities praised the UAE’s humanitarian role and its contribution to improving healthcare access, promoting volunteerism, and supporting global humanitarian values through humanitarian aid and medical cooperation.
