World Art Dubai 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is not just an art exhibition—it is an experience that opens your eyes and heart. Artists from around the world are displaying ideas in ways we could never imagine. Some are painting with light, some using threads, metal, or even recycled paper. Others are making entire worlds with brushes, colors, or digital tools. From laser photography to sculptures made of fabric and paper, the creativity here goes beyond the ordinary.
This four-day show is so full of imagination that if you really want to see and understand everything, you will need at least a full week. The event is extremely well-managed, with clean surroundings, high security, peaceful music, and a wonderful mix of modern technology and timeless art.
But the real surprise—and joy—came when our DXB News Network team visited a special section of the show made just for school students. What we saw there left us speechless.
Students from some of Dubai’s top schools displayed artworks so powerful, they could easily belong in professional galleries. These children are not just learning art—they are using it to express deep thoughts about life, the future, and the world around us.
GEMS Legacy School, Dubai
The students worked under the theme “Framing the Future: Beyond Progress.” Their message was clear—progress must include empathy, kindness, human connection, and sustainability. They used eyeglasses as frames for their paintings to show that how we see the world shapes our future. The work was thoughtful, emotional, and deeply meaningful. It shows how well the school helps students connect values with creativity.
Swiss International Scientific School
This school amazed visitors with a huge wall full of small, colorful tiles—all handmade by students. Together, they formed a powerful steampunk-themed city of the future. The display showed innovation, teamwork, and artistic skill. We also saw photos of students planning, painting, and building this giant project—proof of how teachers guided them with care and dedication.
North London Collegiate School & American Academy for Girls
These schools brought bold and joyful visions of the future—space, oceans, green cities, smart homes, and AI-powered technology. Their art was full of imagination and also showed concern for the environment, animals, and community. One creative piece titled "Seek and Find" was filled with clever inventions by students, like floating weather stations and rain-powered filters. It was fun and meaningful at the same time.
The opening day of World Art Dubai 2025 welcomed many visitors, but the presence of Amrinder Singh, Global CEO of DXB News Network, and Ms. Anastasie Akibode, a respected figure in the international art community, added a quiet sense of depth to the occasion.
Amrinder Singh walked through the exhibits not as a corporate executive, but as someone with a personal connection to creativity. He took time to engage with artists, curators, and especially the students whose works were on display.
What left a lasting impression on him was the student pavilion—where young minds had poured their hearts onto canvas.
“These artworks reminded me of my own school days. That smell of classrooms, the joy of tiffin time, and those special moments when teachers and students came together to create something... it all came rushing back. What touched me most is how today’s kids and their mentors are still working together in that same spirit—side by side.”
Accompanying him was Ms. Anastasie Akibode, an accomplished artist known for her abstract expressions and sculptures. As a patron of DXB News Network and someone with years of experience in the art world, she brought a thoughtful, observant lens to the exhibition. She explored the student section with genuine curiosity, taking her time to notice the details.
“These young artists are expressing more than just technique. There’s meaning and care behind what they’ve created. Platforms like this give them the confidence to keep exploring, and that’s what matters most.”
Their presence didn’t overshadow the event—it quietly amplified it. For the students and teachers, it was a moment of encouragement and recognition. And for the visitors, it was a reminder that art has the power to connect people—not by status, but through shared feeling and purpose.
What made these artworks truly special was the message behind them. These were not just drawings—they were dreams. The students expressed hope, curiosity, care for nature, love for people, and visions for a better tomorrow. With the support of their schools and encouragement from their teachers, these young minds spoke loudly through their silent pieces.
Every brushstroke had emotion. Every corner had a thought. Every piece reminded us: children do not need permission to imagine—they need space to express.
Behind every powerful artwork stood a teacher—one who inspired, guided, and supported. These educators are doing more than teaching—they are helping shape future thinkers, creators, and changemakers. Their hard work is what turned these student ideas into such impactful displays. To all the teachers and mentors involved—you are the true artists behind the success.
At DXB News Network, we believe that no form of art, and no artist—young or old—should ever go unnoticed. And we also believe in celebrating those who make space for creativity to thrive. This showcase of young talent is not just a part of World Art Dubai. It is its soul. These students didn’t just participate—they led the way. And through their creativity, they reminded all of us: the future is bright, colorful, and in very good hands.
To every school, every teacher, and every child artist—take a bow. The spotlight is yours.
