WhatsApp has started giving a new translation feature to some users. This feature helps you translate messages in different languages right in the app. The feature was first found by WABetaInfo and is now available for people using the beta version 2.25.12.25. More people will get this feature in the next few weeks.

This new tool lets users translate messages in languages like Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Hindi, and Russian. The best part is that it works even when you don't have an internet connection. The translation happens directly on your phone, so no need to be online.
But, to use this feature, WhatsApp users need to download special language packs. You can download them one by one or get a pack that can translate many languages at once. After downloading, you can turn on the translation option for each chat, whether it's a private or group chat.
If you want to translate a message, just press the message for a few seconds and choose the “Translate” option. This way, you can translate messages when you want.
The translations may not be perfect, as the feature uses smaller language packs compared to other online services, but WhatsApp lets you send feedback to make it better. WhatsApp also said your message content won’t be sent to Meta, so your privacy stays safe.
If you're already using the beta version and have this feature, WhatsApp wants you to share your experience to help make the tool even better for everyone.
