Urvashi Rautela Stuns at Cannes 2025 with Colorful Outfit

Urvashi Rautela, a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, attended the opening ceremony and screening of the film Partir un jour (Leave One Day) on Tuesday. She looked stunning as she walked down the red carpet, wearing a colorful outfit. To complete her look, she wore a tiara and carried a crystal-embedded clutch shaped like a parrot.

Pictures and videos of Urvashi from the red carpet have gone viral on social media, and people have had different reactions. She chose a strapless dress with a structured design in shades of blue, red, and yellow. The dress was eye-catching, and the matching tiara made her look even more glamorous. However, the standout piece of her outfit was the parrot-shaped clutch. One of the pictures even showed Urvashi holding the bird-shaped bag and kissing it while posing for the cameras. According to the Instagram page Diet Sabya, the clutch is made by the designer Judith Leiber, and it costs $5,495 (which is about ₹4,68,064.10).

The internet had a lot of fun reacting to Urvashi’s outfit. One person joked, saying, “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like design machine studio.” Another fan said, “I’m such a fan.” Someone even mentioned her recent film Daaku Maharaaj, asking, “Was Daaku Maharaj shown at the festival?” One comment simply said, “Slay,” and another compared her look to “Moulin Rouge meets Mayur Vihar.” Some people were curious, asking, “Is Urvashi being campy? Is this a satire on camp?” Meanwhile, one Instagram user jokingly said Urvashi was “hogging the red carpet” and needed to leave.

In her recent work, Urvashi starred in films like Jahangir National University in 2024. In 2025, her song "Dabidi Dibidi" from Daaku Maharaaj was criticized for its vulgar dance steps. She later released a song called "Touch Kiya" in Jaat. She will also be starring in the upcoming films Welcome to the Jungle and Kasoor 2.
