His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended a big event in Abu Dhabi. The event was held by the Ministry of Defence to mark 10 years since the National and Reserve Service Law started. This law has helped teach people in the UAE the importance of loyalty, love for the country, and serving the nation.
Many other important leaders of the UAE were at the event too. These included His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence. Their attendance showed how much this occasion matters to the country.

One of the most exciting parts of the event was the largest military parade in UAE history. The parade was called Waqfat Walaa (A Stand of Loyalty). Thousands of people from the National Service and Reserve Force took part. They showed their skills, strength, and discipline. This was a proud moment for the UAE Armed Forces and for everyone watching.
Sheikh Mohammed spoke during the event. He thanked all the citizens who joined the National Service program. He said their service shows how much they love and are loyal to the UAE. He also praised the youth of the country for keeping the dreams of the founding leaders alive. Sheikh Mohammed said the young people of the UAE are helping the country grow in many areas like defense, technology, and innovation.
Another important part of the event was the handover of the Khalifa bin Zayed Airborne Brigade flag. This was a special moment and a big step forward for the UAE military. It shows how the country is improving its defense system to protect its people.
Sheikh Mohammed also awarded some military officers and non-commissioned officers with the UAE Military Medal. This medal was given to honor their hard work and dedication in making the National and Reserve Service Law a success. It showed how much the country values their efforts.
The event was also attended by many other leaders, such as Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council; His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Their presence showed the strong unity of the UAE’s leadership.
This special ceremony celebrated not just the 10 years of the National and Reserve Service Law but also the values of loyalty, patriotism, and sacrifice that are so important to the UAE. It was a proud moment for the entire nation, showing how the leaders, the people, and the Armed Forces are working together to make the UAE strong, safe, and successful.
