People in the UAE are facing very hot weather this week. The temperature in many areas is around 45°C, but it feels even hotter because of high humidity. Due to the moisture in the air, the real feel is close to 50°C.
Weather experts say that the humidity can reach up to 90% in coastal areas like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. This mix of heat and moisture makes it harder for the body to cool down, which is why it feels even hotter than it is.

People are being advised to avoid going out during the hottest parts of the day, especially between 12 noon and 4 pm. It is also important to drink enough water and stay in shaded or air-conditioned places as much as possible.
Drivers are warned to be careful during early morning hours as fog might form in some areas. This can make it difficult to see clearly while driving.
Authorities are asking everyone, especially children, older people, and outdoor workers, to take extra care during this heatwave.
