Dubai, UAE: The Hotel Show 2025 successfully concluded its three-day run at Dubai World Trade Centre, having attracted hospitality leaders, culinary experts, tech innovators, and F&B professionals from across the region and beyond. The event served as a powerful platform to discuss the dynamic evolution of the UAE’s hospitality and F&B sectors, while also showcasing some of the latest technology-driven guest experience solutions.
Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, the show reaffirmed its status as the Middle East’s premier hospitality event. Held alongside INDEX, WORKSPACE, and HITEC, The Hotel Show featured high-impact discussions at the F&B Leadership Summit and Hospitality & F&B Forum.
Culinary Innovation & Local Talent in Focus
The opening panel, ‘Culinary Crossroads: Leveraging Global Cuisine and Fusion Trends’, highlighted the UAE’s rise as a global culinary hub. Speakers discussed how the country, despite its young age, has developed a vibrant F&B culture driven by diversity, fusion trends, and homegrown concepts.
Amit Arora, COO at Arada, noted, “The UAE has evolved into an incubation center for innovative culinary ideas, with a strong push to export local concepts.”
Miguel Silva, Corporate F&B Director at Azizi Developments, added that success in the current market goes beyond aesthetics. “It’s not just about the view—customers want something different and immersive.”
Smart Tech Launches Steal the Show
This year’s show also served as the launchpad for new-to-market innovations. Notable highlights included:
Conit.Cloud’s AI-powered service platform, offering real-time virtual guest assistance trained on hotel-specific documents—redefining customer support with precision.
Gharieni Middle East’s RLX Satori Wellness Lounger, combining vibrational and binaural sound therapy for a holistic wellness experience.
Emphasis on Human-Centric Tech at HITEC
At the HITEC Conference, hosted in partnership with HFTP, discussions centered on the strategic implementation of technology in hospitality. Experts stressed that tech adoption must align with brand identity and guest expectations.
William Costley, COO at TIME Hotels, advocated for scalable, sustainable tech choices, emphasizing metrics like Return on Entertainment and Return on Loyalty as equally crucial to ROI.
Viju Varma, Head of IT at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, emphasized maintaining the “human touch” in luxury hospitality: “We enhance—rather than replace—human interactions using smart tech integration,” he said.
Shaping the Future of Hospitality
As the curtains close on The Hotel Show 2025, the event has once again proven to be a key catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking in hospitality. From bold culinary directions to cutting-edge technologies, the UAE continues to set new benchmarks in delivering world-class guest experiences.
