Abu Dhabi Unveils TAMM 4.0, Pioneering AI-Native Government

Abu Dhabi took a giant leap toward becoming the world’s first AI-native government by 2027, unveiling a wave of innovations and strategic collaborations at day two of GITEX Global 2025. More than 30 government and academic entities showcased the emirate’s vision under the theme AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose, demonstrating how partnerships across sectors are reshaping digital experiences for residents.

At the heart of the announcements was TAMM 4.0, the emirate’s super app unifying over 1,100 public and private services. The latest version introduces advanced AI-driven features and intuitive Spaces designed around people’s daily needs. AutoGov, the world’s first AI public servant, autonomously handles recurring tasks like license renewals, bill payments, and healthcare appointments, freeing residents’ time for more meaningful activities.

New capabilities such as AI Vision and Smart Guide offer spoken and visual assistance, while TAMM Hologram allows live holographic support in Arabic and English. TAMM by You turns the app into a community-driven platform where users can suggest and vote on future services, reflecting the UAE’s Year of Community initiative.

The expansion of TAMM Spaces now includes Mobility and Family, alongside existing Business, Property, and Sahatna interfaces, bringing essential services together in a single, user-friendly ecosystem. Partnerships with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre, Abu Dhabi Police, and Family Development Foundation further streamline government interactions and enhance community well-being.

Abu Dhabi also highlighted innovations in urban management and mobility. The Department of Municipalities and Transport introduced Smart Inspection Robot, AI-powered city patrols, and LivAI, a digital twin platform integrating live data, robotics, and predictive analytics for urban planning. Strategic partnerships with e&, Capgemini, Hikvision, Analog Studios, and Origen Technology aim to advance smart city solutions, 5G infrastructure, and AI-based urban intelligence.

Digital infrastructure and data governance received a major boost through partnerships with CyberGate, Core42, Etisalat by e&, and Microsoft, enhancing cybersecurity, cloud capabilities, AI governance, and public service innovation. Abu Dhabi Customs also signed agreements with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and Ras Al Khaimah Customs to modernize trade systems, while AD Mobility inked MoUs to strengthen AI-driven transport planning, road safety, and urban analytics.

With 19 strategic partnerships announced in a single day, Abu Dhabi demonstrated the scale and ambition of its AI-native government vision. From smarter citizen services to intelligent urban infrastructure, the emirate is setting new global benchmarks in AI-powered governance and digital innovation.
