Abu Dhabi is rapidly solidifying its position as a leading hub for film and TV production in the Middle East. The emirate has welcomed T-VFX, a global postproduction and visual effects (VFX) specialist, which has officially opened its Middle East headquarters on Yas Island. This move comes after the enhanced film and TV production rebate introduced earlier in 2025, attracting a surge of international and regional productions.
Operating for over 25 years, T-VFX has collaborated with top brands such as Amazon, Apple, Blumhouse, Miramax, Samsung, BMW, Lexus, IBM, Unilever, and Adidas. Its new Abu Dhabi base provides comprehensive services for film, television, commercials, immersive experiences, digital media, exhibitions, and experimental projects.
The Yas Island facility houses advanced studios, editing suites, and a volume stage to support a wide range of production needs. Beyond service provision, T-VFX is committed to nurturing local talent, offering training programs, internships for CMA-identified youth, and workshops for professionals in the region. This approach ensures that Abu Dhabi’s creative ecosystem grows not only in scale but in skill and expertise.
With this expansion, Abu Dhabi’s content production landscape is set to benefit from world-class VFX and postproduction capabilities. The presence of experienced teams on the ground reduces reliance on external providers, accelerating production timelines and enhancing creative output.
This development highlights Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision to become a top-tier global creative media hub, fostering innovation while supporting a thriving local talent pool and attracting international projects to the emirate.
