Many people look for ways to feel better, improve their energy, and support their hormonal health. A doctor from Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, Dr Tripti Dubey, says that the morning time is very important for the body. What we drink after waking up can affect our mood, energy, and how our hormones work throughout the day.
Hormones are chemical messengers in our body. They help control our sleep, hunger, stress, periods, weight, and overall energy. When hormones are not in balance, a person may feel tired, irritated, have skin issues, irregular periods, or trouble losing weight. Dr Dubey shared that choosing the right drink in the morning can help support the hormone system, but only when combined with good sleep, healthy meals, and regular exercise.
She explained that the body cleans and repairs itself at night. So drinking something gentle and healthy in the morning can help the liver and digestive system work better. This may help the hormones stay balanced.
The doctor recommended drinks that are natural and easy to prepare. One example she shared was flaxseed-chia water. Flaxseeds and chia seeds contain fiber and plant-based nutrients that can support digestion and help the body maintain healthy hormone levels. These seeds can be soaked overnight and then sipped in the morning.
She also said that warm water with lemon, coconut water, herbal teas, and fenugreek seed water can be helpful. These drinks provide hydration and important nutrients. They also support the liver, which plays a big role in hormone balance.
However, Dr Dubey also warned that these drinks will not fix hormone problems by themselves. They are only one small part of a healthy lifestyle. She said a person must also get enough sleep, avoid too much processed food, manage stress, and stay active. Only then can the body feel better throughout the day.
The message is clear: start the morning gently, drink something natural, and give the body the support it needs. Small habits done daily can help the body stay strong and balanced.
