Sultan Haitham Welcomes Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan in Oman

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Sultan of Oman, met today (Monday) with His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE. The meeting took place at Al-Baraka Palace in Muscat. Sheikh Hamdan is visiting Oman officially with a group of important people.

Sultan Haitham warmly welcomed Sheikh Hamdan and his group. He said he was very happy about the close and brotherly relationship between Oman and the UAE and their people.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan shared greetings from two important leaders of the UAE: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. They sent their best wishes to Sultan Haitham for Oman’s continued growth and success.

The leaders talked about the strong friendship between their countries, which has lasted for a long time. They also discussed ways to work even better together in many important areas like business, trade, tourism, culture, and education. These efforts aim to help both countries develop and grow.

Sheikh Hamdan said the visit was very meaningful in many ways. He explained that it shows how strong the friendship between the UAE and Oman really is. He also spoke about the shared goal to work closely, share successful ideas, and support each other’s growth. This cooperation helps both countries plan for a better future and improve Gulf region teamwork to achieve lasting development.

Sheikh Hamdan thanked the people of Oman for their warm welcome and kind hospitality. He wished Oman, its leaders, and its people ongoing progress, happiness, and respect.

The meeting included many important leaders from Dubai and the UAE, such as:

• Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai

• Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, head of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Emirates Airline

• Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, head of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority

Other senior UAE officials were also present, including ministers and top government leaders responsible for trade, culture, artificial intelligence, economy, and security.

Earlier in the day, Sheikh Hamdan arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman. He was greeted warmly at the Royal Airport by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth.

This visit strengthens the friendship and cooperation between Oman and the UAE, showing how close the two nations are and their plans to work together for a better future.
