Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Chairman of Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), opened the new PCFC headquarters in Dubai Maritime City. The new building is designed to show progress and support PCFC’s goal of making Dubai a top global business hub. It can hold over 1,500 employees and welcomes more than 300 visitors every day. The headquarters also has a parking area with over 700 spaces.
The new building is built to follow LEED Gold standards. This is one of the top global rules for making green buildings. These standards help save energy, reduce water use, and make sure the air inside is clean. The building is located at Mina Rashid, one of Dubai’s oldest and most important ports. With its modern design, it is a symbol of growth, innovation, and care for the environment.
At the opening event, Sultan bin Sulayem spoke about PCFC’s long history, which started in 1886 when the Furda Department was set up to look after trade and customs in Dubai. He said the new headquarters is more than just an office building. It shows how PCFC is always working to be innovative and care for the environment. He also said the building was made to give employees a better place to work and to improve services for customers.

Strategic partners of PCFC were also there.
During the event, Sultan bin Sulayem took a tour of the building. He visited areas like the Museum, Library, Happiness Council, Innovation Quay, and employee offices. He said the new headquarters shows how Dubai is growing and how PCFC is helping with this progress.
The event also had some special touches to make it memorable. PCFC introduced a special musical tune and unique fragrances named after important ports in Dubai, including Rashid, Hamriyah, and Jebel Ali. These were created to celebrate Dubai’s strong connection to its maritime history and PCFC’s achievements.
Nasser Al Neyadi, the CEO of PCFC, said the new headquarters is the start of many future achievements. He explained that the building matches PCFC’s plans for digital transformation and for being excellent in their work.
This new headquarters is an important step for PCFC. It will make PCFC stronger in Dubai and around the world. It also supports Dubai’s position as a leading hub for trade and business.
