Dubai Land Department has announced a significant milestone with the inclusion of the 'Stake' real estate investment platform into its pioneering Real Estate Evolution Space Initiative (REES). This initiative aims to propel Dubai to the forefront of real estate technology and artificial intelligence globally, revolutionizing accessibility and ownership opportunities in the sector.
'Stake', a local company launched in Dubai and expanding internationally, offers a comprehensive digital platform that digitizes the real estate buying and selling processes. This move underscores Dubai's commitment to digital transformation and democratizing real estate investments for a broader audience.
His Excellency Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of the Dubai Land Department, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Stake to REES, emphasizing its role in fostering local PropTech innovation and enhancing Dubai's real estate competitiveness. He highlighted Dubai's strategic focus on digital technologies as fundamental to its real estate growth and sustainability goals, aligning with the city's vision to lead global digital transformation in various sectors.

Rami Tabbara, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Stake, commented on the partnership, noting Stake's mission to make real estate investment borderless and accessible globally. He lauded REES for driving innovation and accessibility in the real estate market, aligning closely with Stake's vision of transforming property investment dynamics.
Established in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Stake aims to democratize real estate investment by offering opportunities with high potential returns. Through its user-friendly app, Stake enables investors to build global real estate portfolios starting from as little as AED 500. The platform manages all aspects of investment transactions, from initial investment to exit strategy, and distributes monthly rental income and capital appreciation returns directly to investors' Stake investment wallets.
As part of their collaboration with the Dubai Land Department under REES, Stake will conduct a masterclass workshop titled ‘Invest for Tomorrow’ aimed at Emirati participants. Scheduled for July 3, 2024, this workshop aims to equip attendees with essential financial management skills and intelligent investing strategies. Topics covered will include mastering financial basics, implementing smart investment strategies for generating passive income, and planning for long-term financial security.
The Real Estate Evolution Space Initiative (REES) launched by the Dubai Land Department supports Dubai's Economic Agenda D33, aiming to position the city as a global innovation hub. It represents a significant step forward in real estate innovation within the region, attracting and nurturing companies specializing in real estate technology while showcasing cutting-edge PropTech solutions tailored for both local and global markets.
