Earlier, Balkaur Singh had announced the arrival of the baby on his Instagram account, expressing his gratitude to the well-wishers. In his post, written in Punjabi, he thanked the fans and followers of Shubhdeep’s late brother, Sidhu Moosewala, for their continuous support and blessings. “Thanks to the good wishes of the lakhs and crores of Shubhdeep's followers and fans, Akal Purakh has sent Shubh's little brother to our laps,” wrote Balkaur Singh. He also mentioned that his wife, Charan Kaur, was in good health, and both parents were deeply grateful for the love and support from their well-wishers during this emotional time.

Shubhdeep’s name is a tribute to Sidhu Moosewala’s real name, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, making the arrival of this new member even more significant. Along with the announcement, Balkaur Singh shared a picture of himself proudly holding the newborn, a tender moment captured with a father’s love.

Not long before the announcement, Balkaur Singh had broken his silence regarding Charan Kaur’s pregnancy. At the age of 58, Charan Kaur had undergone IVF treatment to conceive. Balkaur Singh addressed the rumors surrounding her pregnancy on social media, urging people not to believe false stories and to trust the family for any updates. “There are so many rumors going around about our family, but they are not to be believed. Whatever news is there, the family will share with you all,” he stated.

Sidhu Moosewala, born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was tragically shot dead by assailants on May 29, 2022, just a day after his security was reduced. His death sent shockwaves across the music industry and his fans worldwide. The grief-stricken family now finds solace in the arrival of baby Shubhdeep, marking a moment of joy amidst the sorrow.
