Sheikh Hamdan Attends Luncheon Hosted by Indian PM Narendra Modi

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, recently visited India for the first time on an official trip. During this visit, he was warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi, who hosted a special lunch in his honour.

The luncheon was a symbol of the strong friendship between the UAE and India. It showed how much both countries respect each other and how deeply connected they are. It also reflected their shared goal of working closely together in many areas, including business, technology, and international cooperation.

Sheikh Hamdan thanked the Indian government for their kind hospitality and warm welcome. He expressed his happiness at the way he and his delegation were treated during their stay.

The event was attended by several important members of Sheikh Hamdan’s team, including:

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and the head of Emirates Airline and Group

1. Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs
2. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation
3. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports
4. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy
5. Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs
6. Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications

Other senior leaders and officials also joined the lunch. These included:

• Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Defence
• Dr. Abdulnasser Jamal Al Shaali, UAE Ambassador to India

Several senior officials from both countries were also present, making the gathering a key moment to discuss future cooperation between India and the UAE.

The visit and the luncheon helped to further strengthen the already close ties between the two nations and opened new doors for working together in the future.
