His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, has decided to give a monthly bonus to all students at the Sharjah Maritime Academy (SMA) in Khorfakkan. This is the same bonus that students at the Sharjah Academy of Police Science already receive. The decision was shared with the public during the "Direct Line" program on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
This bonus is part of His Highness’s effort to support the students and encourage them to continue their studies at SMA. By giving this bonus, the Ruler hopes to motivate students to focus more on their education and do their best in their studies.
In addition to the bonus, His Highness has also decided to organize a big marine festival in Kalba. This festival will include a rowing boat race, which will take place before the upcoming Ramadan. The event will be a celebration of the maritime traditions of the region, and it is expected to bring people together to enjoy the sport and the culture.

It will allow people to enjoy the sport of rowing and learn more about the history of the sea in the region. The festival will also provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate their shared heritage.
The announcements made by the Ruler during the "Direct Line" program allow people in Sharjah to hear directly from their leader about new decisions and important news. This helps keep the public informed and involved in the changes happening in their community.
His Highness’s decision to support the students at SMA shows how much he values education and the development of young people in Sharjah. The bonus for students is just one way the Ruler is helping students to succeed and pursue their dreams. The marine festival will also show the Ruler's commitment to preserving the culture of Sharjah, and it will allow everyone to come together to celebrate the traditions of the region.
