Sharjah Chamber unveils advanced model for 2025 Excellence Award

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has launched the 2025 edition of the Sharjah Excellence Award, introducing a fourth-generation global assessment model that focuses on innovation, sustainability, and institutional performance.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the award aims to enhance the competitiveness of private sector companies in the UAE and GCC. It encourages businesses to adopt leadership, quality, and innovation in their practices.

The award has previously attracted more than 600 companies from 30 different sectors, including healthcare, education, industry, and agriculture, reflecting its wide impact. This year’s edition features eight categories such as the Sharjah Excellence Award, Gulf Excellence Award, SMEs Award, and a special award for Entrepreneurs with Disability.

To promote participation, SCCI will hold awareness workshops, seminars, and field visits. Registration is now open through the official website, welcoming private companies, government institutions, and entrepreneurs.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, said the award reflects Sharjah’s vision for a knowledge-based economy, noting that last year saw a 34% increase in participation. Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinator, called on businesses to apply and benefit from the award’s developmental opportunities.
