Starting on 29 November 2024, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will launch three new bus routes, including Route 108, which will connect Satwa Bus Station directly to Global Village. This new bus route is part of RTA’s plan to make it easier for people to visit places like Global Village. The buses will run on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and special events. The buses will start at 2:00 PM and run until 1:00 AM the next day, with 11 daily trips. There will be a bus every hour.

Along with Route 108, RTA will start two other new bus routes. Route F63 will connect Al Ras Metro Station to Union Bus Station, going through Al Khaleej Street and Naif Street. Route J05 will link Mira Community to Dubai Studio City, passing through Neshama Townhouses. These new bus routes will help people travel more easily in these areas.

At the same time, RTA will make some changes to existing bus routes to make travel easier. Route 5 will now run in both directions between Abu Hail Bus Station and Union Bus Station. It will no longer go to Al Ras Metro Station. Route 14 will also change to run in two directions and end at Business Bay Metro Station. Route 33 will be shortened and will now stop at Karama Bus Station instead of Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.

Other bus routes will also be changed. Route 91 will stop at Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) in both directions and will travel through Business Bay to Jebel Ali Bus Station. Route J02 will be shortened to make the trip faster between Arabian Ranches and Dubai Production City. Route J04 will stop at Sports City but will have fewer stops in Dubai Studio City.

There will also be changes to Route F38 and Route F39. Route F38 will now go to Al Jurf Heights Group, and Route F39 will stop at Etihad Mall. Route X92 will stop at the DMCC Metro Stop on its way to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and will have fewer stops at Dubai Investment Park.
RTA is also making changes to 30 other bus routes to improve travel times. These include routes 7, 13D, 14, 20A, 21A, 21B, 30, 32C, 33, 34, 43, 44, 63E, 67, 91, DH1, E700, F05, F07, F26, F23, F38, F39, F54, F63, J01, J02, J04, J05, and X92.

RTA is always working to improve public transport and make it easier for people to travel around Dubai. These new routes and changes will help connect more areas of the city and encourage people to use buses instead of driving.
