The song has been very popular since it was released on October 18, 2024, and it continues to break records. "Apt" is part of Rose's solo album titled Rosie. The music video also became the fifth fastest video in YouTube history to reach 600 million views, beating the record set by British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You."
This isn't the first time "Apt" has broken a record. Before hitting 600 million views, it became the fastest K-pop music video to reach 500 million views on YouTube. These achievements show just how much attention the song is getting from fans around the world.
Along with the success of the music video, Rose is also making history in the music world. She recently became the first female K-pop soloist to enter the Top 3 on the Billboard 200 chart with her solo album, Rosie. This is a huge accomplishment in the K-pop industry, where female soloists often face tough competition.
The song "Apt" is based on a Korean game called ‘Apt,’ which translates to "Apartment" in English. The game has become popular in Korea, and its theme is reflected in the song’s lyrics and music video.
Rose's collaboration with Bruno Mars and her solo success shows how much she has grown as an artist. Fans are excited to see what’s next for her as she continues to break records and make her mark in the music industry.
