Investigators from Namyangju Police Station revealed that she was socializing with two friends at the event, where she was seen drinking. At approximately 9:55 p.m., Park Bo Ram excused herself to use the restroom. Concerned when she did not return, her friends went to check on her and discovered her unconscious, slouched over the sink.

Park Bo Ram rose to prominence at the age of 17 when she participated in the singing competition Super Star K2 in 2010.
