Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his enduring talent by netting a goal in Al Nassr's 4-2 victory against Al Wahda in a friendly encounter at Abu Dhabi's Al Nahyan Stadium. Just weeks after his stunning bicycle kick, the Portuguese icon celebrated with his signature SIUUU cheer, much to the delight of supporters present.
Although taking place during a break in the Saudi Pro League, both teams exhibited a fierce competitive spirit during the match. Ronaldo initiated the scoring in the 12th minute, delivering a precise right-footed shot into the lower corner following an intelligent corner play. Al Wahda quickly countered, equalizing in the 20th minute through Facundo Kruspzky. However, Al Nassr surged ahead again when Kingsley Coman blasted a powerful shot into the top corner in the 30th minute.
Al Wahda retaliated and leveled the score at 2-2 in the 35th minute thanks to Serbian midfielder Dušan Tadić. The scores remained tied as the teams went into halftime, but Al Nassr emerged reinvigorated in the second half. Haroune Camara netted shortly after the restart, giving his side a 3-2 advantage. The match concluded with Saad Fahad Al Nasser scoring the fourth goal, securing Al Nassr's triumph and dashing Al Wahda's hopes.
In the final moments, Al Nassr maintained control to seal the 4-2 win. While Ronaldo found the net, this goal won't contribute to his official career total, which stands at 954. He is now just 46 goals shy of the remarkable 1,000-goal milestone. His most recent official goal dates back to late November, marked by a breathtaking bicycle kick against Al Khaleej.
Additionally, Ronaldo is currently the second-highest scorer in both the league and his team, with 10 goals—just one behind teammate Joao Felix. As the Saudi Pro League gears up for a December 21 return, fans across the globe are eagerly anticipating whether CR7 can sustain his incredible momentum. The legend continues to push forward, with his pursuit of 1,000 goals captivating football enthusiasts worldwide.
