Famous Tamil actor Ravi Mohan and his wife Aarti Ravi are currently going through a serious fight over their divorce. For the past six months, both of them have been making public statements on social media, and people have been talking a lot about their personal issues.

Divorce Case in Court Ravi and Aarti have been married for 15 years, but in 2024, Ravi decided to leave their home and filed for divorce. The divorce case is being handled at the Family Welfare Court in Chennai. Ravi filed the divorce papers last September, saying that they had too many problems and could not fix their relationship. This week, both Ravi and Aarti appeared in court. The case was heard by Judge Thenmozhi. Ravi told the judge clearly that he no longer wanted to continue the marriage and that reconciliation was not possible. On the other hand, Aarti filed her own request in court.

She said she needed ₹40 lakh per month (Rs. 40,00,000) as financial support, also known as maintenance, because she would need money to take care of herself after the separation. The court has postponed the next hearing to June 12. A New Controversy There has also been a lot of talk about Ravi’s friendship with singer Keneeshaa Francis. Last week, Ravi appeared in public with Keneeshaa at a big wedding event in Chennai.

This caused even more drama and led to more public discussions. Aarti’s Instagram Post On May 20, Aarti shared a long note on her Instagram account. She did not mention Keneeshaa’s name directly, but she hinted that a “third person” had entered their relationship and ruined their marriage. In her post, Aarti said that things like money or power were not the reason their marriage broke down.

She wrote: “None of these are why our marriage suffers. There is a third person in our marriage. What broke us wasn't something between us – it was someone outside. The 'light of your life' brought only darkness to ours. That’s the truth.” Her post seemed to respond to Ravi’s earlier message where he had called Keneeshaa the "light of my life." The situation between Ravi and Aarti is clearly emotional and difficult. The court will decide what happens next when the case continues in June.
