On January 4, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, marked his 19th Accession Day by paying a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum. He referred to her as "the most beautiful thing" in his life, reporting her as his greatest supporter and the soul of Dubai.
Accession Day is special for Sheikh Mohammed because it marks the day he became the ruler of Dubai in 2006. However, this year, the leader chose to dedicate the day to Sheikha Hind. He called her his “companion and backer in life” and “the mother of sheiks,” showing his deep respect and love for her.
Sheikh Mohammed shared a video on Instagram celebrating Sheikha Hind, where he expressed his admiration for her. He described her as an understanding and generous person, the pillar of his home and the foundation of his family. “She is my greatest supporter throughout my career,” he said. He also wished for their love to last forever, praying that God would protect her and make her happy.

Sheikh Mohammed ended his tribute with a message on loyalty, urging everyone to remain loyal to those who truly deserve it. “Loyalty to our companion on the path… and our support in this life,” he added.
The ruler of Dubai also shared an emotional Arabic poem dedicated to Sheikha Hind. The poem expresses his deep feelings, saying, “There’s no one like you to me,” and “You will always remain the most precious of humans.” It went on to describe her as his “first dream” and said that the letters of her name hold a special place in his heart.
As well, Sheikh Mohammed introduced a new campaign called "Thank You Sheikha Hind." The campaign honors Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum for her outstanding contributions. She has been a strong advocate for Emirati family values, social unity, and supporting parents in raising their children. Through her leadership, she has helped improve the lives of millions.
