A new viral video of Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again stirred global speculation about his health. The footage, widely shared on social media, shows the 73-year-old leader’s right hand appearing swollen and veiny, prompting online discussions about possible medical issues.

The clip, reportedly recorded last week, shows Putin meeting Yekaterina Leshchinskaya, the 22-year-old head of the Russian Healthy Fatherland movement. In the footage, Putin seems visibly uncomfortable, repeatedly clenching his right hand into a fist — a gesture that quickly caught the internet’s attention.

Anton Gerashchenko, former adviser to Ukraine’s interior ministry, shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “What’s with Putin’s hands in this video?” His post triggered a wave of online theories, with users suggesting that the Russian president may be suffering from circulatory or neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease.

Health Rumors Continue to Circulate

This is not the first time Vladimir Putin’s health has become a topic of international debate. Earlier this year, his hand appeared bruised and spotted during a military visit, fueling rumors of illness. Kremlin officials have consistently dismissed such claims, labeling them as “fake” and politically motivated.

Online users drew comparisons between Putin’s recent appearance and past global leaders who faced similar scrutiny. For instance, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s bruised hand once led to speculation about his health, later clarified by White House officials as the result of “tissue damage from frequent handshaking.”

Controversial Remarks Resurface

Amid renewed attention to Putin’s health, social media users have also resurfaced an earlier viral clip of his conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. In the exchange, Putin was heard discussing human organ transplants and longevity, saying, “Human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become.” The statement reignited curiosity about the Russian leader’s views on aging and immortality.

Kremlin Remains Silent

As of now, the Kremlin has not responded to the latest health rumors. However, officials in the past have insisted that Putin remains in “excellent health,” continuing his regular meetings and public engagements.

Still, as the video continues to circulate worldwide, questions surrounding Putin’s health are once again at the forefront — sparking both concern and conspiracy theories among observers.
