Priyanka Chopra on Friday showed her support for Janhvi Kapoor’s thoughts on gender equality by sharing a video of Janhvi’s speech on social media. The video was from the "We The Women Asia" event held in Mumbai, where Janhvi spoke about the importance of starting honest conversations to bring real change. While posting the clip on Instagram, Priyanka wrote that change begins with discussion and praised Janhvi for addressing the issue.
In her talk, Janhvi explained that meaningful progress starts when people talk openly, debate respectfully, and use their voices to guide the younger generation. She said that individuals, especially public figures, carry the responsibility of helping others understand what true equality means. According to her, women are “unstoppable” and must be valued and treated the same as anyone else. Her message encouraged people to understand their power and support the idea of equal rights.
Priyanka’s support added more attention to the message, as both actresses have shown strong commitment to issues affecting women. Janhvi’s video quickly gained praise online, with many agreeing that spreading awareness is an important step toward progress.
Priyanka Chopra is preparing for her return to Indian cinema with the Telugu film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is expected to release during Sankranthi 2027. She is also part of the American action movie The Bluff, where she will play a 19th-century Caribbean pirate, and she continues work on the second season of her web series Citadel. With multiple global projects, Priyanka remains one of the most influential voices in the film industry, using her platform to support women empowerment and promote public awareness.
