People say the new phone will be released in May 2025, but OnePlus has not said anything official yet. Last year, the old model called OnePlus Nord CE 4 came out in April 2024. So many people thought the new one should have come by now. But it looks like the company is a little late. We may hear more in the coming weeks.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 might have a 7,100mAh battery, which is bigger than the 5,500mAh battery in the older model. That means the phone will last longer without needing a charge. This is good for people who use their phones all day. But a bigger battery can also make the phone heavier and thicker. To fix this, OnePlus may use a special type of battery, like the one used in the iQOO Z10 phone, which keeps the phone slim and light.

The phone will also need a strong charger to fill up the big battery quickly. The old phone came with a 100W charger, so this one might have the same or even better. Right now, we don’t know for sure.

The new OnePlus phone may also come with a powerful chip. It could have either the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip or the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip. The old phone used the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. The new chip will make the phone faster and smoother. It is also expected to have the same UFS 3.1 storage, which means apps and files will open fast.

We don’t yet know about the camera or the screen, but since the battery is big, the screen might also be large. The old phone had a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with sharp picture quality and smooth movement. So the new phone may have something like that too.
