Nvidia shared some big news on Monday. They said they will start letting other companies use their special chip connection technology called NVLink Fusion. This technology helps chips inside computers talk to each other faster and better. This is very important for building smart machines, like those used in artificial intelligence (AI).
The new NVLink Fusion lets many chips work together smoothly in custom-made AI systems. Some companies, like Marvell Technology and MediaTek, have already said they will use NVLink Fusion when they make their own special chips.
Nvidia first created NVLink a few years ago. It helps chips send data quickly between each other. Right now, Nvidia uses NVLink in its powerful GB200 system, which combines two of its best Blackwell graphics chips with a Grace CPU (a type of main processor).

The boss of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, talked about this new technology during his main speech at the Taipei Music Center. This place is hosting Computex, one of the biggest technology shows in the world, from May 20 to 23.
During his speech, Huang also shared plans to build a new Nvidia headquarters in Taiwan, near the northern part of Taipei.
Huang looked back at how Nvidia has changed over time. He said, “There was a time when 90% of my talks were about graphics chips.” But now, Nvidia works on much more than just gaming parts. They have become a big leader in making chips for AI, especially after popular AI tools like ChatGPT came out in 2022.
Nvidia is also designing CPUs that can work with Microsoft’s Windows. These CPUs will be made using technology from a company called Arm Holdings.
Last year at Computex, Huang was very popular with the crowd, so much that the local media called it “Jensanity,” showing how excited people are about him in the tech world.
In March, at Nvidia’s developer conference, Huang explained the company’s plan to move from just making big AI models to supporting many AI applications. He showed some new AI chips, including the Blackwell Ultra, which should be available later this year.
Looking into the future, Nvidia has more chips planned. The Rubin chip series will come first, followed by the Feynman processors in 2028.
Nvidia also announced a new desktop AI system called DGX Spark, made for AI researchers. Huang said on Monday that this system is now being made fully and will be ready in a few weeks.
Computex is expected to have about 1,400 companies showing their products. This event is very important because it is the first big meeting of computer and chip makers in Asia since the U.S. thought about putting taxes on imports to encourage making more products at home.
