The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina on Monday. This visit was a special moment for him to pray at one of the most holy places in Islam.

When he arrived at the mosque, he was welcomed warmly by several officials who helped him during his visit. The Vice President spent time praying and reflecting in the mosque, which is a very important place for Muslims around the world.
The Prophet’s Mosque, also called Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, is one of the most sacred sites in Islam. It is the second holiest mosque after the Grand Mosque in Mecca. Many Muslims come here to pray and feel closer to their faith.
This visit also shows the strong relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. It reminds us of the shared values and faith that unite Muslims everywhere.
