With the score tied at 110, Dallas seized control by scoring nine unanswered points to close the game. Davis’s five-point burst gave the Mavericks a critical 104-101 edge, setting the stage for Brandon Williams to score as well. Though Porter tied it at 110 with a three-pointer, crucial scores from Williams and Davis sealed the victory.
Flagg’s 18-point first half helped Dallas secure a 65-61 lead at halftime, while Porter scored 21 for Brooklyn. The third quarter concluded with both teams knotted at 90, but Clowney momentarily lifted the Nets ahead. Ultimately, Dallas bolstered their advantage in the closing minutes, with Washington’s free throws ensuring victory.
The Mavericks now boast five victories in their last six outings, highlighting exceptional teamwork and standout performances from Davis and Flagg, while the Nets continue to depend on Porter’s scoring prowess.
