His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the graduation ceremony for the 2024 cohort of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) from its Dubai campuses. The event took place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai and was held under the inspiring theme “Empowering Minds, Creating Future.”
During the ceremony, His Highness awarded certificates of merit to 34 exceptional students who graduated with Distinction or Honours from a total of 432 graduates. This recognition highlights the hard work and dedication of these outstanding individuals.

In attendance were notable figures, including Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Chancellor of HCT; Dr. Faisal Alayyan, President and CEO of HCT; and Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, Executive Director of HCT-Dubai Campuses. The event also welcomed teaching and administrative staff, as well as the proud families of the graduates.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a vibrant laser show and a video presentation titled “Igniting Excellence.” Dr. Faisal Alayyan addressed the audience on behalf of the HCT Board of Trustees, expressing deep gratitude for the unwavering support provided by the UAE’s leadership. He acknowledged President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their commitment to fostering education and talent development in the nation.
Dr. Alayyan emphasized that the graduation ceremony was a celebration of the success of the nation’s youth, particularly the 2024 cohort. He highlighted the graduates as reflections of the UAE leadership’s vision to empower young people with essential skills and knowledge for success. Since its establishment, HCT has focused on developing human resources to strengthen the nation’s economic framework. Dr. Alayyan pointed out HCT’s significant achievements in training skilled professionals and successfully placing them in key sectors.
He announced the graduation of 432 students from the Dubai campuses, expressing confidence in their readiness to contribute to the nation’s development across diverse fields.
The graduates, during their acknowledgment speeches, shared their joy at completing their educational journey and pride in being part of HCT. They credited the institution for equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in a competitive world and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the UAE leadership for its unwavering support, which facilitated their academic success.
They also recognized the encouragement from teachers, parents, and peers that helped them throughout their educational journey. Their appreciation underscored the collaborative effort that made their achievements possible.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikh Mansoor joined the graduates for a commemorative group photograph. He congratulated the students on their remarkable achievements and wished them success in their future endeavors.
