The latest Lucky Day lottery draw in the UAE turned into a night of surprises after being delayed for almost one hour. What many expected to be a normal draw ended up creating bigger excitement and suspense for thousands of people who tuned in live on Saturday evening.
This was the 20th live draw of the game, and it gave many residents reasons to celebrate. The biggest joy came when one lucky participant matched all six numbers in the “Days” set and won a massive prize of Dh1 million, making them the second-biggest winner in the game’s history.
More Winners, More Surprises
The winning didn’t stop there. Six other players each grabbed Dh100,000 by matching five “Days” numbers along with one “Month” number. They joined seven other winners who had already been announced earlier in the night under the Lucky Chance ID category, where each was guaranteed to win Dh100,000.
Together, these winners created a total of 13 people taking home six-figure prizes from this single draw.
Smaller Wins Add Up
The excitement was not only about the million-dirham prize. A total of 74 players each secured Dh1,000, while 5,960 players collected Dh100 by matching smaller combinations of days and months.
In all, the delayed draw produced 6,048 winners, filling households across the UAE with joy as families and friends checked their tickets.

The Drama of Delay
Normally, the lottery results are posted online immediately after the live draw. This time, the nearly one-hour delay plus a slower website update created suspense and made players wait longer than usual. Many stayed glued to their screens, refreshing pages and waiting for the final list of numbers to be revealed.
That wait, however, made the eventual announcement even more dramatic. The sense of excitement spread across online platforms and among players who were eager to know their fate.
A Game That Keeps Growing
Since its launch in November 2024, Lucky Day has become one of the most talked-about games in the UAE. It is the country’s only government-licensed lottery, and every draw captures attention because of the many ways to win.
From life-changing jackpots to guaranteed prizes, the game has built a growing community of hopeful players. Each live draw, streamed online, brings together thousands of residents eager to see if they will be the next winner.
Even with the Dh1 million prize being claimed this week, the Dh100 million grand jackpot still remains untouched since the very first draw back in December 2024. This keeps anticipation high, as players hope for the moment when someone finally takes home that record-breaking prize.
What’s Next?
Players don’t have to wait too long for another chance. The next Lucky Day draw is scheduled for September 20 at 8:30 pm. Until then, participants can check the winning numbers of this week’s draw on the official lottery website, where a full list of winners and combinations is available.
More Than Just Lucky Day
The lottery platform is not limited to this one game. It also offers:
* Daily draws
* Scratch cards (12 different options)
* E-instant and interactive games
* Prizes ranging from as low as Dh50 to as high as Dh1.25 million
Recently, the lottery also introduced its Retail Express service, which allows people to buy physical tickets at three petrol stations in Dubai:
* ADNOC 462 (Jebel Ali)
* ADNOC 529 (Al Quoz)
* ADNOC 535 (Business Bay)
This new option is attracting even more participants who prefer the feel of a physical ticket rather than only playing online.
The Spirit of Hope
The UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day game has turned into more than just a draw. For many, it is a moment of hope and thrill every two weeks. Families gather around screens, friends share their numbers, and the excitement runs through communities.
While only one player can take home the million this week, thousands of others walked away with smaller wins — showing how the game spreads fortune across the country.
With the grand prize still waiting, and new draws around the corner, excitement is certain to keep growing. The journey continues, and every draw brings fresh possibilities.
