After years of strained ties, peace has finally returned to the Abhishek-Ahuja family. Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, has ended her long-standing cold war with nephew Krushna Abhishek and niece Arti Singh.
In a recent podcast with Paras Chhabra, Sunita shared that she has moved on from the past. “Krushna grew up with me along with Vinay and Dumpy. For me, they are all my children. I’ve forgotten everything. Now I just want all the children to be happy and laugh together,” she said.
Reacting to her words, Arti Singh told HT City that her happiness knows no bounds. “Yes, I saw that interview. I was so happy! We were always her children. Whatever happened, you would have never heard anything from my side. I’m glad she’s not upset with Krushna anymore,” Arti said.
The family fallout reportedly began after Krushna made jokes about his uncle Govinda on a comedy show, which Sunita found disrespectful. Over the years, Krushna expressed regret and tried to mend ties, but things remained tense until now.
In the podcast, Sunita also expressed her wish for Arti to embrace motherhood soon, saying, “This is not the age to fight. I want Aarti to become a mother soon. She ties rakhi to Yash every year.”
Responding warmly, Arti said, “Whenever God decides, she will become a rockstar nani soon! I have loved mami and Chi Chi mama from my heart. They have loved us like parents.”
