Beloved South Korean actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a have taken the plunge, officially getting married after a 10-year romance that captivated fans and industry insiders alike. Their intimate wedding ceremony unfolded on Saturday afternoon at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, attended solely by close family, relatives, and a select group of dear friends. Actor Lee Kwang-soo, a long-time friend of Kim, had the honor of hosting the event.
Last month, their agency, AM Entertainment, announced their marriage, sharing that the couple's decision stemmed from a deep trust cultivated over many years. They urged fans and the public to shower the newlyweds with love and best wishes as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
On the day the wedding news broke, Kim Woo-bin expressed his feelings in handwritten letters shared with fans via his fan café. In his message, he indicated that he was starting a family with the woman who has been his steadfast companion for years and asked for ongoing support so their shared journey would be warm and encouraging.
Kim and Shin first crossed paths in 2015, collaborating as models for a fashion label. Their romantic relationship blossomed, and they publicly confirmed it in July of that year. Over the last decade, they've remained a steadfast duo, with Shin earning immense respect for supporting Kim through his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer, highlighting the resilience of their relationship.
Kim Woo-bin launched his modeling career in 2008 before making a name for himself in acting with standout roles in popular dramas and films such as “The Heirs,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” “Our Blues,” and “Alienoid.” Meanwhile, Shin Min-a debuted in 1998, winning hearts through acclaimed series like “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Oh My Venus,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” and “Our Blues.”
