Under the theme "Deliver Value. Create Impact," the ADBW is set to attract more than 150 speakers and 8,000 participants, including policymakers, business executives, international investors, and entrepreneurs. The primary focus will be on exploring new opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable economic development, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s ongoing economic growth and its commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.
The event aims to create an environment conducive to exploring new markets and providing valuable insights into the trends and strategies shaping the future of the capital. The Abu Dhabi Business Week will emphasize strategies designed to strengthen businesses and cultivate a collaborative ecosystem between the public and private sectors, thereby driving growth and diversification in the emirate's economy.
His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), commented, “Abu Dhabi’s Falcon Economy is solidifying our position as a rising economic powerhouse. Abu Dhabi Business Week will serve as a platform for businesses to connect and collaborate, driving the next phase of growth and diversification within our dynamic economy. This event embodies our dedication to empowering businesses as part of our efforts to accelerate the transition to a smart, diversified, and sustainable economy.”
He further added that Abu Dhabi's multidimensional sustainable development strategies focus on high-growth sectors, which have bolstered the non-oil sectors to account for over 55 percent of the emirate’s GDP, following a growth rate of 6.6 percent in the second quarter of 2024. The issuance of economic licenses has surged by 196 percent over the past decade, showcasing Abu Dhabi’s supportive economic landscape.
The inaugural edition of the Abu Dhabi Business Week will feature ten specialized events, including the Abu Dhabi Business Forum, which will address critical topics such as global investment dynamics, business clusters, regulations, and public-private partnerships. Other events, like the Procurement Forum, Innovation Xchange, Global Manufacturing & Industrialisation Summit, Family Business Forum, Entrepreneurship Summit, and Youth Forum, will delve into themes like innovation, procurement, women’s empowerment, family businesses, youth engagement, and entrepreneurship.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking panel discussions, insightful workshops, and exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge innovations and services.
