Imran Khan, the past Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is now in jail, said the terror attack in Pahalgam was very sad. He gave prayers to the people who died and their families. He also asked India to be calm and act wisely.
He said that something like this happened in 2019 in Pulwama. That time too, India blamed Pakistan. Imran said they asked India to work together, but India did not share any real proof. He now says the same thing is happening again.

Imran warned India not to make the situation worse. He said this area is very dangerous, as both India and Pakistan have big weapons like nuclear bombs. So, both should be careful.
Imran said Pakistan wants peace. But if India tries to attack, Pakistan will fight back strongly, like it did in 2019. He also said that Kashmir people should be allowed to choose their future, as the United Nations says.
He also said that after India removed Article 370 (which gave special rights to Kashmir), people in Kashmir want freedom even more. He said Indian leaders follow a strict group called RSS, and that is bad for peace.
Imran then spoke about Pakistan’s own leaders. He said people like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari care only about their money. Their money is in other countries, so they don’t speak against India because they are afraid their money will be taken.
He said Pakistan must stop fighting inside the country. The government should stop going after political people and focus on coming together as one country. If Pakistan is not united, it cannot face danger from outside.
At the same time, a Pakistani minister, Attaullah Tarar, said that India might attack soon – maybe in the next 24 to 36 hours. He said India may use the Pahalgam attack as a reason to start a fight. He warned that Pakistan will answer strongly if that happens.
After the Pahalgam attack, where 26 people died, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the army can do what it needs to. Because of this, things between India and Pakistan are getting more tense.
