His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, hosted Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior, at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi today.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan extended a warm welcome to Sheikh Fahad and emphasized the deep-rooted and enduring friendship between the UAE and Kuwait. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation to advance shared interests and collaborative Gulf initiatives. This dialogue aligns with the strategic vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Fahad congratulated Sheikh Hamdan on his recent appointments, expressing his well-wishes for the UAE's continued success and prosperity. The conversation also covered recent regional and global developments, addressing the challenges facing the region and identifying opportunities for joint action to promote security and stability.
The meeting highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration and the exchange of ideas and best practices to drive sustainable development in both nations and the broader Gulf region. The session was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Her Excellency Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; His Excellency Mohamed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence; His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; His Excellency Lieutenant General Talal Hamid Belhoul Al Falasi, Director-General of Dubai's State Security Department; and His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
