Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has made two key appointments at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). First, he appointed Fatma Ibrahim Abdullah Belrehif as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Education Quality Assurance Agency at KHDA. Fatma’s role is vital in ensuring that education in Dubai remains of the highest quality. She will be in charge of guaranteeing that schools and universities provide excellent education and continue to meet high standards. Her leadership will play a key role in shaping the future of education in Dubai, helping to improve the overall quality of learning and ensure that students receive the best education possible.
In addition, Sheikh Hamdan appointed Dr. Wafi Dawood Mousa Jafar Ali as the new CEO of the Strategy and Institutional Efficiency Sector at KHDA. Dr. Wafi’s job will be to help KHDA improve how it operates and ensure that its plans and strategies are carried out effectively. He will focus on making sure that the authority’s work is efficient and that its goals are achieved.

These changes were made official on 14 September 2023 and will be announced in the Official Gazette. Both new leaders are expected to bring fresh ideas and work hard to make education in Dubai even better.
