Hamdan bin Mohammed Announces Annual Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has announced the establishment of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum as an annual event. This initiative comes in response to the success of the inaugural forum, which was graced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

The upcoming second edition of the Forum, organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 25, 2025. This prominent event aims to gather leaders from various sectors in Dubai alongside global experts, fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed emphasized that the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum is a reflection of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s ambitious vision. This vision is geared towards preparing a new generation of leaders capable of not only shaping the future but also transforming challenges into opportunities. He articulated, “The Forum serves as a strategic platform that is vital in shaping Dubai's future directions and plans. It is designed to enhance strategic foresight and promote leadership practices rooted in the Mohammed Bin Rashid leadership model. This Forum will become a key annual event for top-level leaders across Dubai.”

Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, the Chairman of the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, added that the Forum embodies Sheikh Mohammed’s principles of effective management, strategic thinking, and proactive leadership. He noted the importance of prioritizing comprehensive development and citizen welfare, all while preparing leaders to tackle present challenges and future responsibilities.

Al Gergawi also mentioned that holding the Forum annually will significantly contribute to shaping future strategies that align with Dubai’s vision for global leadership. The Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum aims to be a pivotal platform for crafting future strategies, allowing leaders and experts from diverse fields to share innovative ideas. Participants can expect a variety of discussions, workshops, and lectures conducted by international experts, providing them with essential skills for their professional development.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking a milestone in its mission to cultivate leadership in the UAE. Over the years, the Centre has successfully graduated more than 850 Emirati leaders, which includes seven ministers and ten under-secretaries. Since its inception, the Centre has partnered with over 300 local and global experts, along with 55 international universities, to offer specialized leadership training programs. These initiatives focus on equipping future leaders with crucial skills, particularly in adaptability and informed decision-making, enabling them to navigate the complexities of future challenges.
