The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation has chosen Saudi Arabia to host the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup in September 2026. The decision was made during a meeting in Kuwait City, where all members agreed on Saudi Arabia as the host. Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Football Federation, Ibrahim Al-Qasim, the Secretary-General, and Muidh Al-Shehri, a board member, were at the meeting.

Al-Misehal thanked the leaders of Saudi Arabia for their support of sports, especially football. He said their help was a big reason Saudi Arabia was chosen to host the Gulf Cup. Al-Misehal also thanked Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, the Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, for his hard work in making sure everything was ready for big events in the country.
This decision shows that Saudi Arabia cares a lot about sports and hosting important international events. The country has been working to improve its sports facilities and become a top place for sports. Hosting the 27th Gulf Cup is a big achievement for Saudi Arabia, and it shows the country’s growing role in the sports world.
