ADQ and the UAE Football Association (UAEFA) have reaffirmed their partnership by renewing a sponsorship agreement for the President's Cup Championship, as well as the First and Second Division Club Leagues, extending the deal for an additional three years, beginning with the 2024–2025 season. This renewal underscores ADQ's ongoing commitment to promoting healthy and active lifestyles through the support of integrated sports initiatives across the UAE.

Anas Jawdat Albarguthi, Group Chief Operating Officer at ADQ, expressed enthusiasm about the continued partnership. "We are pleased to sponsor the President's Cup, along with the First and Second Division leagues, for the next three years. ADQ is dedicated to enhancing the UAE's status in the local, regional, and international sports arenas. Our aim is to encourage community members to engage in sports, thereby improving their overall health and well-being."

The sponsorship renewal also comes at a strategic time for the UAEFA as the national team prepares for the crucial third round of the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup. His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the UAEFA, highlighted the significance of this ongoing partnership. "Renewing the sponsorship contract with ADQ is a vital step that builds on the achievements of the past three years. We believe this partnership will continue to support the development of football in the UAE and foster initiatives that encourage regular participation in sporting activities. This renewal is especially timely as we gear up for important international competitions."

Beyond football, ADQ has actively pursued strategic partnerships with various sports organizations, both locally and internationally, to promote healthy living. The company has collaborated with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and is the title sponsor of UAE Team ADQ, the UAE’s official women’s cycling team. Additionally, ADQ sponsors UAE Team Emirates, a professional cycling team, as well as Pyramids Football Club, a prominent team in the Egyptian Professional League. These partnerships reflect ADQ's broader commitment to investing in the communities where it operates, with a focus on fostering a culture of health and wellness through sports.
