Manama: Flight operations at Bahrain International Airport are gradually returning to normal, bringing relief to passengers affected by recent airspace restrictions across the region.
Bahrain Airport Company confirmed that services have resumed following the reopening of the Kingdom’s airspace. The decision was taken after receiving clearance from Civil Aviation Affairs under the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
Officials stated that flight operations are being restored in a phased manner to ensure smooth coordination and avoid further disruptions. Airlines are expected to gradually increase their flight frequencies, with priority given to high-demand routes and connecting passengers.
Authorities emphasized that this step-by-step approach is necessary to stabilise airport operations after a period of uncertainty.
Passengers travelling through Bahrain are strongly advised to stay updated with their respective airlines regarding flight schedules. Timings may continue to change as operations return to full capacity.
The situation is expected to improve steadily as airlines work towards restoring normal services in the coming days.
